It beats me why they didn't carry on with this research, imagine how many murders could have been solved.

There was a movie years ago that used a technique like this to solve a murder but i cannot remember the name now. It is an interesting theory.

Re: Looking Into A Dead Persons Eyes
Bladerunner is a brilliant movie and i remember that machine he sets up to scan the eyes for responses. The scene at the end where Rutger Hauer dies is one of my fav scenes of all time.
The movie i am thinking about was an old one about Jack the Ripper, if i remember correctly, and they tried to use Optography to try and catch the victims last image hoping it would give them the image of the ripper. I am pretty sure that aspect of the ripper story was fiction but the movie sticks in my mind. That would be quite freaky if we could capture a persons last image they saw.

I guess Jack the Ripper only needs to rip the eyes out from now on and problem solved! Sorry, that sounded better in my head.Liberalis wrote: ↑Wed Mar 29, 2023 12:24 am Bladerunner is a brilliant movie and i remember that machine he sets up to scan the eyes for responses.
