not sure about the goanna proof fences there.
I hate roosters too... I let them breed one batch then he goes into the pot when they hatch , I then keep a rooster from that lot.
inbreeding I know, but no ill effects so far after gen 5 . then I will get a new rooster from somewhere else.
chooks, live ones, dead ones...
