Maybe we think too easily that everything is about the Jews?!?
In Hinduism, Kautuka is a red-yellow coloured ritual protection thread, sometimes with knots. It is sometimes called kalava, mauli, moui, raksasutra, pratisara (in North India), kaapu, kayiru or charandu (in South India).
The ritual thread is traditionally worn on the right wrist by males and on the left by females.
The red-colored thread symbolizes Vishnu for men, and Lakshmi for women: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kautuka
See hindu Rishi Sunak with the Kautuka string on his right wrist (also some other colour bands on his wrist, 3 in total?).
