Doug is a funny bloke, he's super arrogant and intolerant of anyone with differing ideas, but I reckon he's a Savant, and a useful one at that. That said you can see some real stretches of logic in his assumptions for some of his calculations, especially the non-earth science stuff, but I think it would be impossible for anyone to watch all his stuff and not learn something. I don't subscribe to a whole lot of his precise theories, but credit where credit is due: if you want to see in video all the geological evidence that exists on the planet and the moon for recurring cataclysms, his methodical videos on his diehold foundation youtube channel is probably the best I can think of. How you interpret all the evidence he presents is up to you, but few have taken the time to present as much evidence as he has. I highly recommend his series 4 on earth processes, the other stuff was interesting but shows the stretches of logic i mentioned.
