I think listening to the rants of some dumb rapper, who has boasted about not reading books, is a distraction, and waste of everybody's time.
But he did once make good music, he had already produced some big hits before he released his debut album.

Ooh Shit! She is my Age...
Goodnight Irene...
I Remember going to see Fame in a Brisbane theatre shortly after Returning to OZ.
I Literally Danced in the Aisle.
Ahh...Sweet Youth
When Investigating Flashdance, I Found that a French Dancer, Marine Jahan had been used as a Double and had Done the Dancing for Jennifer Beals.
Little known at the time as Internet wasn't a Thing and she wasn't in the Credits.
Holly Wood Lies Again.
Loosely knew Michael Nouri, he lived in Malibu and we shared a Guru and Attended the same Meditation Retreats.
That was all before these films and I was never Enamoured by Actors, having worked for a few, I got to see the Perfect Imperfection Up Close and Personal.
As for Irene, We Don't Even Have to Ask the Question Do We...

She even had a part in the movie (not on Flashdance though).
The 1980s when the movies became ever more predictable, and the only thing that made them interesting was the soundtrack. In the 1990s, movies became even more mind numbing!
Do you also remember that awful Fame sitcom spin-off?
Boring as hell, with the dancers mostly black, and then the obviously Jewish piano man (with Jewish piano teacher).

Re: Music .... What Are You 'Rocking' To?
Hi FS...So True About the Movies.
Hell, I even Remember them Playing the Propoganda Battle of Britain Films on the Loong Boat Ride over here.
And Black and White Laurel and Hardy films with a Piano Player FFS...
Wasn't Watching the Films all us kids were playing with each other in the Aisles.
My First Film was either The Wonderful World of the Brothers Grimm (Good Choice Mum)
Sound of Music, Mary Poppins or Oklahoma as I saw All and they were around that Era.
I Think it was Mary Poppins, Mum Says I Refused to Leave the Theatre, Begging to see it Again.
God I Must have been a Pain...
The Black and White TV Shows that Indelibly Stamped were Qatermass' The Pit and the Pendulum, The Prisoner and War of the Worlds on TV.
All Augered Well Didn't they?
Oops, Seem to Have Hi-Jacked the Thread Again.
Miss having Humans in 3D to Talk and Reminisce with, in Case you Didn't Notice...
