I have massive respect for cave divers, who willingly put themselves in a position where there are a thousand different things that could go wrong at any moment. I have read and heard numerous accounts of deaths of people getting lost in silty water, getting wedged in crevasses, losing tanks, succumbing to disorienting air mixture sickness or diver's deaths while trying to recover bodies from previous dives.
