Anyone close to the area of Glen Innes here? Anywhere from a 45 minute to 1hr drive from there would be OK.

Not quite mate, just weighing up my options. I have a chance at moving to Glen Innes but was putting the feelers out for people in the area.

when the family headed off to Queensland ~ 1972 , in a caravan to 'save the family' just before splitting up, I was around 9 years old.. I will never forget Glen Innes, the cold, the cold, the cold.
I've still got two of the blankets, then new, we had, as door coverings in my loungeroom now.
