I kinda forgot they were working on a search engine until Jeff Berwick mentioned it in his video. For those that internet a lot, how does it compare?

I have been using brave search on and off for some months now and it seems ok, at least it seems better than the mainstream engines for search results etc. It is one of only 3 i use and so far so good.

that is what I meant, shows how old I was.
then again, the fat guy running it could see everything one did. it was sad though to see such enthusiasts taken over in a few short years in the early 90's by The Net.

It's actually what compelled me to setup my own crawling and indexing solution (see Crowbar guides) because otherwise we are, as you say, stuck moving from engine to engine as they fall like dominoes to corruption.
