Indiginous seed

Where is a good resource to find indigenous, non-modified seeds? I am extremely uncomfortable with the idea of trusting these store seeds which are designed to be incapable of reproduction.
Moreover, how does one verify that a seed is truly natural and has not been weaponized by Bayer & friends?

It depends where you are but there are organic certified producers of seed online that advertise themselves as selling non-gm seed stocks. I tend to go with classic heirloom varieties which are less likely to of been messed about with genetically. I still use ebay for sourcing decent seeds.

Thanks, I also happened across some good sources on some agora markets too. I have a huge amount to learn about all of this as I plan to greatly reduce my dependency on the system over the next few years.

Assuming you are located in Australia, Fairdinkum seeds has a good stock of all types of seeds. Organic and non-gmo. The dude literally sources his seeds from his back yard.
