Yup, fun times ahead!
If people are interested, this farmer started digging into the whole crap after she got told to stop using a logical crop cycle. Does require youtube subtitles for translation because its 100% dutch language.

Thanks for the video. It's a bit long, but I will watch it later today. As these are interesting times for the Netherlands, where will things go from here, or will it take a bit of time to draw out a plan to address the new challenges? You live in the Netherlands, so you probably have a good handle on what's go on.foundaname wrote: ↑Fri May 26, 2023 9:00 am Yup, fun times ahead!

Re: The farmers in the Netherlands
I've just read through the comments section of Neil McCoy-Ward's video. Over 2,000 comments already since yesterday, and not a single person who commented has an idea what to do next. The comment that stuck in my mind was posted by Nettynoo Hawk:
First they come for the Farmers and I did nothing.
Next they come for local Allotments plots and I did nothing
Now my children are starving and they are coming for my home because my garden grows food and no one is doing anything… Wake up people!

Re: The farmers in the Netherlands
Correct me if I'm wrong, but there appears to be nothing in the mainstream media at all about what's recently happened in the Netherlands, and yet, the comments section of that video, alone, show that a lot of people are extremely concerned about it. There are plenty of reports from a fortnight ago, and earlier, but nothing this week.

Re: The farmers in the Netherlands
The local msm did report on some changes that would be following the new regulations but obvious never a straight answer or explanation. I honestly personally have no clue where things will go next. People are angry, but not to the point of taking any noticable action. I dont even think I have heard of a new protest rally from the farmers yet.Robo wrote: ↑Fri May 26, 2023 9:19 am

But I really recomend people watch the interview. She explains for example, how the rules in germany and the netherlands vary hugely, which has some shitty results. She take the rine river as an example: nitrogen also gets into the water. The water flows with nitrogen from germany and passes the netherlands on the way to the sea. But there is no filter on the border of germany and the netherlands to reset the nitrogen value, so if you are a farmer with land next to the river, your property is negatively impacted by the nitrogen in the river. She explains it far better than I do, though I fear gag-all translate will make a mockery of her explanation. But it really is that insane and illogical and far too many people seem to still be going along with it.

(Not able to find anything at all from the mainstream media in the same time period)
From 6 days ago, a report from Al Jazeera:
"Dutch gov’t to buy out farmers to reduce livestock emissions"
