A freak storm unleashes a species of bloodthirsty creatures on a small town, where a small band of citizens hole up in a supermarket and fight for their lives.
In this scene the first appearance of the Mist sends people running into the grocery store. Eventually Melissa McBride's character is forced to leave in order to return to her children.
