Nightmare Skies
Jun 19, 2022

I'll be Attempting to get some Seeds to Grow for the 5th time this Year.
I've had No Luck Thus Far...

I made Clear Covers Last Year to Protect the Garden Beds from the Fallout.
Even Tried Germinating Seeds Indoors and Gave them some Sun Lamp Bathing when we had No Star in the Sky for Weeks.
I am New to all this and Learning as I go...😩
Anywaay, I'm Off to Source Delivery of Some Organic Seedlings, Wish me and You Bon Chance...
🥰🙏

heard rob on that one on saving gardens, saving lives,
good luck my seedling germination is almost as pathetic as trying to get usb anything, keyboards, mice, hubs, to work. maybe too much humidity but I blame China (and Israel).
just ordered a couple more mice, it will be a plague of half dead mice here.
when fukushima happened 2011 I was thinking about saving soil, even in buckets under the house... I realise now how futile some efforts are.
10 years behind wiggington's walk in the park, his dead big backyard.
noticed the hoop pine is badly scared on its north, sunny, side. UVC no doubt.
OTOH I got half a kilo of tumeric from the boggy ground today.

Wired only, new laptops do not have the plug, hence adaptors.
I have resorted to hitting the laptops (no woman, no cry, but I think it worked, for now). Doubt it is dust. Just all at once last few days it is unbelievable even in a Gates world. Settling down now, one mixes and matches the hardware, then it usually settles down until the next time.
Almost tempted to go back to desktops. at 5X the power requirement and noise.

yes I only read today that Tumeric should be harvested when the leaves go yellow.
some things are germinating though, I lied.
last of the wood and roots (I seriously feel like Storm Boy - On The Beach) collecting for later winter warmth, all from On High in the Avalanche on the Tides of March into the new garden.
and boy am I careful about tripping ( no not that way).
then mulching, grass from On High and an easy Downhill run , a dewalt double bladed recipricating saw does a good job of chop chop.
mulch more than anything is my neglected part.
I've left a couple of 'truthers' in my will. but often I want to add/subtract to that.
Robert Deutsch is one of my wannabe additions.

the weather's fine but there may be a meteor shower / ELO/Jeff Lyn Time album 1980

la-nina-is-overfor-now/644979
"The Bureau of Meteorology has today declared the end of the La Niña, but is this the last Australia will see of this rain-inducing climate driver in 2022?

The Bureau’s latest climate driver update, released on Tuesday, June 21, states that “the 2021–22 La Niña event has reached an end, with a majority of indicators currently at neutral levels.”

"This ends a seven-month La Niña episode that was declared in November 2021 and went on to produce record-breaking rain and flooding in eastern Australia during late summer and autumn."
"The Bureau of Meteorology also acknowledge this potential in their latest climate outlook, stating that “some model outlooks suggest La Niña may re-form later in 2022. As a result, the Bureau's ENSO Outlook status has moved to La Niña WATCH. La Niña WATCH means there is around a 50% chance of La Niña forming later in 2022. This is approximately double the normal likelihood.”"

we'll meet again, don't know where, don't know when, but I know we'll meet again some sunny day...... / Dr Strangelove end tune. aka Vera Lyn, propagandist WWII bombshell singer.
