hooley dooley...
wetness here later this week, most likely.
first time used a lawnmower (self propelled it must be) in several years getting in ahead of that.

Re: Australia, NSW floods
made my first custom brushcutter blade (sick of the chinese ones made for Origami or something).
trick was to be a able to cut the steel (a thick enough gal structural u bean 2ft long, 8" wide which cost $5 and will get be 20 of them now) and a reasonably competent cone drill to cut the 1" hole. exceeded my expectations as much as it exceeded normal safety limits (even without the guard as usual, lol). I wear leather gaters (from the Army Disposals in the 80's when quality stuff could be had there at a reasonable price. will wear glasses as well as face mesh. copped one stone on the finger. but I am watching Christians get stoned on AD The Bible Continues, so no matter.
fix car idle problem. and a hole in chook shed (still losing some to IKnowNotWot).
win win win day.

found a python in the chook cage this morning, after stitching up one hole yesterday (not likely).. there are no hiding spots.. anyhow took him/her/it for a walk down to the letterbox. that explains the lost young ones. got a hen on 12 googie eggs, for 3 weeks , then , Egg God willing, that noisy rooster goes to Crow Heaven, where there will be peace here on earth as it is in heaven.

100mm in 10 days will be normal for this time of the year. (not sure if Rob D is saying more than that, but I just checked windy)
went romper stomper in gumboots on canetoads last night, got one largish toad, but then a largeish normal green tree frog jumps out or same area. he could use the watering.

open the pod bay doors HAL
pods are on the outskirts of town but no place to call home...
reasonably convo with reasonable Mayor of Lismore
then again, pods look like The Future rather than The Miracle To Come if not Closing Time / Leonard Cohen album 90's
